There will be three (3) themed spaces hosted by the ISTH DEI Committee this year, one at lunch during each full day of the Congress. This is a new opportunity being piloted by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee at the ISTH 2023 Congress this year, offering a time and space for those with shared identities and their allies to gather together, network with one another, share experiences and discuss how the ISTH and its members can better support you and your career.

  We are looking forward to welcoming delegates from Reach-the-World countries to come and connect with one another and to help the ISTH to best welcome members from all over the world.

• Parents/Caregivers: Monday, June 26, 12:15 – 13:15, Room 523 (add to your calendar here)
  If you identify as a parent or caregiver, join us and meet others who share similar experiences in balancing career and caring responsibilities.

• Different Physical Abilities: Tuesday, June 27, 12:15 – 13:15, Room 523 (add to your calendar here)
  All those who are differently abled are welcome to join and discuss how this has influenced your career and how we can make the ISTH more accessible for you.

We invite all those who relate to one of these identities or those who consider themselves allies to bring your lunch and join your fellow Congress attendees for meaningful discussion and the opportunity to make news connections with other congress delegates like yourself. This is part of the ongoing ISTH commitment to ensure that everyone feels welcome and able to participate in the Society, regardless of their background and personal characteristics.
